WARNING!! Diet Danger!!

Cinnamon apple oatmeal coffee cake. For anytime of day!

I guarantee it won’t last long with vanilla glaze. This really turned out well as my ‘cooking on a whim’ recipes usually do. Lol. I am really pleased. Unfortunately it is leaded and definitely NOT diet friendly. It does have cinnamon and raisins and flax and steel cut oats so that’s good. But the white and brown sugar tanked it!  You know how it is when you just start adding ingredients without measuring spoon or cups anywhere in sight. Yea!  It’s like that!  So deliciously moist and sweet that it is good enough for dessert. So see you soon, grabbing a cup of hazelnut coffee. Ok, i won’t add my sweetner or cream. 😋


Snicker chunk cookies

It’s baking season!  Oooooooo. Please somebody come and get these cookies.  I’m reviving the baker in me. Lol. These cookies are rich and chocolatey and caramely…😳. I know that’s not a word. But when you mix snickers and peanut butter and oatmeal,  you can’t eat just one.  

Beautiful and creamy Biscuits

Beautiful and melt in your mouth biscuits. Yum. So I have to eat white bread right now so I’m baking with white flour. I like different things so this has a hint of cinnamon.  Instead of jam or preserves (next time). I used sugar free syrup. The color comes from the spices mixed.  

They were so good after my 2 I had to eat one more. I quickly put the last ones away. Lol

Key ingredients:  Butter, Cinnamon, Turmeric

I finally tried it!

I saw a version of this on Allrecipes and it looked scrumptious!  Spaghetti squash cooked in a delicious and very easy way. You see that?  Heavy cream with garlic and bay leaf, chicken broth, onions and sweet pepper. Oil the pan, oven at 400 degrees and bake away!  About 40 minutes will do it. To make it interesting add cubes chicken breast or Italian sausage  when it’s almost done and there is a whole meal for you.
